Description

Swan House is a 15th-century timber-framed and close-studded building located on the west side of The Street in Appledore. It features plaster infilling and has a first floor that oversails on a massive bressumer supported by brackets. The ground floor has been rebuilt in brick, which is now painted. The building has a hipped tiled roof and includes two casement windows.
