Description

The house is a farmhouse, dated 1746, located on the west side of Tamley Lane, Hastingleigh. It is a two-unit lobby-entry plan building constructed of painted brick with a plain tiled roof. The house sits on a plinth and has a brick dentil eaves cornice to the hipped roof. A central stack and two dormers are present. The façade features two cross windows on each floor, a central boarded door, and a porch. A plaque is affixed to the upper right, inscribed "Thomas Newton. 1746".
