Description

The Bowl Inn is a public house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It has a rendered exterior and a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with a hipped roof and chimney stacks located to the left and at the rear right. The windows are regularly arranged, featuring three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor, both with segmental heads. There is a central glazed door set within a gabled porch. An extension is present on the right side, which also has a glazing bar sash. The inn may have been established in 1744, as noted by A. Marsh in 1985.
