Description
Yew Tree Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century, featuring a timber frame with red brick cladding added in the 18th and 20th centuries, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an irregular arrangement of three windows, which are 20th-century casements. On the left side, there is a hip end of a projecting cross wing, with 19th-century blind hoods above the windows. There is a blocked porch at the angle of the two wings and a hipped dormer above. To the right, there is a low one-storey wing with a hipped roof. The house has a central stack and an end stack on the right. The entrance is now located at the rear, where the complete 16th-century timber framing is exposed.
