Description

Pilgrims' Hall is a building located at The Close, dating from the 13th to 14th century. It features an early hammer beam roof, which is significant as it is reputedly the earliest example known. The hall has a half-hipped tile roof and consists of three bays. There is an inserted floor and modern windows have been added, along with a modern entrance. Pilgrims' Hall is part of a group of listed buildings in The Close.
