Description

The Judge's Lodging is a historic building located at No 4 The Close, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with some alterations. The structure is two to three storeys high, featuring a central section made of red brick with stone dressings, and side sections constructed of chequer brick. It has a pediment above the central part and is adorned with sash windows that include glazing bars. There are three windows positioned above a central door, which is accompanied by a modern porch. The roofs are tiled, and there is a late 18th-century east wing. This building is part of a group of listed buildings in The Close.
