Description
10 The Close is a building from 1833, with elements from the 18th and 19th centuries in its appearance. It has undergone significant alterations but features a 13th-century vaulted stone undercroft and a panelled room above. The building stands three storeys tall, with walls made of a mix of stone, flint, and brick, topped with a late 18th-century dentil cornice and an old tiled roof. It has three 18th-century sash windows, with two additional sash windows from the same period located above. The building also has a parapet and notable chimneys. There is a four-window stone wing with a tiled roof. All listed buildings in The Close are part of a group.
