Description

The Carnery is a 19th-century building, constructed in 1833, located in The Close. It features a medieval charnel house, with remains found in the wall to the west of the Cathedral. The structure is made of stone and flint and stands two storeys high. It has a distinctive roof covered with old tiles, which is ripped and includes two gabled dormers.
