Description

Minster House is an early 18th-century building located in Great Minster Street, prominently positioned in relation to the Cathedral. It is a two-storey and attic structure built of red brick with blue brick headers and features a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is covered with old tiles, and a brick string runs along the first-floor level. The building has five windows, with a late 18th or 19th-century central door featuring a fanlight, Tuscan columns, and an open-moulded pediment, leading to a six-panel door. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. There are two gabled dormers and a brick chimney with a moulded cap. Minster House is part of a group of listed buildings along Great Minster Street.
