Description
The structure consists of walls, a gateway, and piers located 50 meters west of Lainston House, dating from the 18th century and early 20th century. The walls are made of brick and feature Portland stone copings. They begin at the ends of brick loggias, extending 25 meters west before turning at a right angle to form a courtyard. The walls are 1 meter high, with piers placed every 3 meters, topped with stone coping. The end walls are 15 meters long on each side of the gateway, which has a ha-ha in front, revealing the stepped foundations of the walls. In the center, there is an early 20th-century gateway flanked by large rusticated round piers with stone copings and finials, along with wrought iron gates. In front of each pier, there is a low quadrant wall.
