Description

The portico to Stratton House, located in East Stratton, was built around 1803 by George Dance Junior for the Baring family. This structure is made of Portland stone and features a Greek Doric design with three bays and two storeys. It includes a triglyph frieze and a pediment, and is free-standing with a pond inside it that leads back to a 1960s replacement house.
