Description

The Peninsular Barracks North Block, built in 1833, is located on the south side of Romsey Road. This block mirrors the design of the West Block but features a 10-window front. The central section consists of 3 bays and is adorned with a Composite order of pilasters, an entablature, an attic, and a pediment. The Royal Arms are prominently displayed in the center of the pediment. The buildings of Peninsular Barracks are part of a cohesive group.
