Description
Beverley is a house that dates from the early 18th century, with early 19th century recladding and side wings, and mid-19th century rear extensions. The front wall is made of stucco and features a first-floor band, a parapet with a cornice, and stone coping. The side wings and other walls are constructed of brickwork in Flemish bond with blue headers, and include rubbed flat arches, some cambered arches, and stone cills. The upper walls at the rear are tile-hung. The main block has a hipped slate mansard roof, while the rear has a tile roof. The symmetrical south front elevation is two storeys and an attic, with five windows and wide single-storeyed wings on each side, each with one window. The windows are Victorian sashes, and the doorway is framed by an architrave within a trellis porch.
