Small country house. Early C18 with C20 additions. Brick, plain tiled roof. 5 bay double pile house with added 3 bay flanking wings and ballroom attached to right wing. South front 2 storey with attic and basement. Mid C20 reinstatement of central door and stone perron steps with wrought iron handrail. Basement has C20 sash windows with round heads. Other sash windows 12-pane with flat gauged brick arches. Moulded timber cornice and pediment over centre 3 bays with cart- wheel window in tympanum. Roof half-hipped with 4 symmetrical gable stacks. The wings are late C19 or C20 in matching style. Each has 2 windows on front, 3 on rear, and projects forward one bay. Ground floor of C18 house has single room on south with C18 chimneypiece at each end and panelling. Behind is 2 bay staircase hall, with open well stair with turned balustrade, moulded handrail ramped up at newels, dado with bolection moulded panels with pilasters between and contemporary panelling in hall.
