Description
This stable block, located 10 meters south of Marwell Manor Farmhouse, dates from the 17th and 18th centuries and incorporates materials from the 14th century. It is constructed from coursed flint with stone and brick dressing, topped with an old plain tile roof. The side facing the house features a late 18th-century stable door on the left, flanked by windows, and another similar door on the right with a window beside it and a hay loft above. The center has brick quoins with stone quoins adjacent, and to the left, there is a strip of squared stones, part of which forms the side of a blocked 18th-century window with brick dressings. On the left gable end, there is a reset 15th-century four-centred stone doorway with three orders.
