Description

Old Fulling Mill is a house and mill that has been converted into a single dwelling. It dates from the 17th century and features a timber frame with a thatched roof. The building has one storey and an attic, with an irregular arrangement of windows. The walls show exposed framing filled with painted brickwork. The thatched roof is hipped at the ends and includes eyebrow dormers, with cills positioned at eaves level in the older section of the house. The windows are casements, and there are boarded doors. Additionally, the mill race runs under the south end of the building, between brick cutwaters.
