Description

Nos. 17 and 19 on High Street are a single building consisting of two cottages. They date from the 17th century and feature a three-bay timber frame, with a rear outshot added in the 18th century. The exposed frame includes brick and some plaster infill, with a brick gable on the south side and a brick wall at the rear. The main part of the building has a thatched roof, while the rear has a tiled catslide roof. The east front elevation is two storeys high and has four windows with casements, along with plain doorways.
