Description

This is an 18th-century house and shop, with early 19th-century additions, located on the west side of Broad Street in New Alresford. The building is constructed of painted brick and has a tile roof. It is two storeys high with an attic, featuring two windows. The tile roof includes a 19th-century flat-roofed dormer, and a moulded eaves cornice. The upper windows are 18th-century sash windows with exposed frames. The shop front displays an early 19th-century cornice and frieze. Above the shop front are two small rectangular bays, with the central doorway now a window. There is a door on the south side fitted with a radiating fanlight.
