Description

The Old Post House is a late 18th-century house located on the west side of Broad Street, New Alresford. It is constructed of stucco and has a tile roof. The building has plain walling with a moulded eaves cornice. The windows are 18th-century sash windows, wider on the ground floor, set in exposed frames. The doorcase features a segmental pediment, broken cornice, deep double-scrolled brackets, panelled pilasters, panelled reveals, a plain fanlight, and a six-panelled door accessed by stone steps. Three flat-roofed dormers are visible.
