Description

This is an 18th-century barn located 50 meters west of Hunton Grange Farmhouse. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and sits on a rubble plinth, with a half-hipped roof made of corrugated iron. The barn has five bays and is aisled, with a central crossing that has been altered to include later framed doors at the height of the arcade plate. There is a cartshed attached to the front left of the doors. Inside, the barn has a queen post roof with cambered ties, straight and curved braces, and clasped purlins with wind braces. The right two bays contain 20th-century machinery, and there is a large 20th-century shed at the rear.
