Description

Nos 8 and 9 Clifton Road are a pair of yellow brick houses built around 1840, featuring stucco dressings, pilasters, bands, and a cornice. The building consists of four bays, with the two central bays set forward and adorned with pilasters and a pediment above. The houses have sash windows with glazing bars, and the ground floor features tripartite windows. There are arched panelled doors in the side bays, each with fanlights above. Additionally, there is a three-light arched window in the pediment, and the roof is slate. Nos 8 to 12 Clifton Road form a group.
