Description

Whiteways is a house located in Chilbolton, dating from the early 18th century, with an addition from the early 19th century. It features roughcast walls and a thatched roof. The front (north) elevation has two storeys with one window on the east side and one storey and attic. The west side has two windows. The roof is half-hipped, with two levels of ridge and eaves, and eyebrows over the upper windows on the west side. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door with a gabled thatch hood supported by posts.
