Description

Old School is a hall type school built in 1844, designed in the Jacobean style with later extensions that create an L-shape. The building features flint walls with brick dressings, including quoins, eaves, and plinth bands, as well as stepped verges. It has a slate roof. The main block is positioned at right angles to the roadway and has three windows. The elevation facing the road includes two gables, each with a large window. The cast-iron window frames display a pattern of large octagons and small squares, and there are plain doorways located within the angle of the building.
