Description

Hurst Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage situated at right angles to the roadway in Hurstbourne Tarrant. It is constructed of brick and flint and features a thatched roof. The south-west front has one storey and an attic, with two windows. The roof is half-hipped, and the eaves are raised above an upper window, showcasing exposed framing in the gable. The flint walls include some flint panels, along with brick quoins, bands, verticals, and cambered arches. The cottage has casement windows and two boarded doors set in plain frames.
