Description

This is a house dating from the 16th century, originally timber-framed and subsequently altered. It has brick walls, with some exposed timber framing and tile hanging at the south end. The roof is thatched, hipped and half-hipped, with eyebrow dormers to the original section. The older part of the house is one storey and attic in height, while a rear wing is taller. The windows are unevenly spaced and are casement windows. The doorways are plain. Later additions and restorations occurred in the 19th and 20th centuries.
