Description

Diamond Cottages is a row of cottages built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from pebbledashed cob on a flint plinth, with a slate roof that was originally thatched. Each cottage features two bays and is two stories high. There is a planked door for each cottage, set beneath a pent-roofed porch that is open at the front and has a roof made of corrugated iron, with either wattle or rendered walls. To one side of each door, there is a single casement window, and on the other side, a three-light casement window, with a three-light casement window positioned above the doors. The windows are arranged alternately. The roof is hipped, with stacks located between the cottages rather than at the center.
