Description
Goosehill is a public house that has been converted into a private residence. It was built in the mid-19th century and has undergone alterations in the 19th and late 20th centuries. The building features colourwashed brick and has an old plain tile and slate roof. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays in a single pile, with a contemporary stable attached to the right and an early 19th-century low two-storey, two-bay wing attached to the left.
The central entrance has a six-panel door set within a much-altered Doric doorcase, primarily from the 20th century. On either side of the entrance are 20th-century bays. The first floor has a 12-pane sash window in the centre, flanked by 16-pane sash windows on each side. The roof is hipped to the right, featuring a stack at the rear on the right and another stack at the left end. The left addition includes a 20th-century window and a hipped roof.
