Description

No. 54 East Street is an early 18th-century building with a regular west-facing facade that features two storeys and four windows. It has a tile roof and a deep modillion cornice, although the upper part has been altered. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond with blue headers, red rubbed flat arches, first floor bands, and a cement plinth. The windows are sashes in exposed frames, with Victorian-style windows on the ground floor. The entrance is a plain later door located off-centre in the third bay, which has a block canopy supported by brackets, an architrave, panelled reveals, and a five-panelled door.
