Description

Mill Cottage is a 17th and 18th century cottage located on Tytherley Road, East Tytherley. It is a timber-frame building with weatherboard cladding and a thatched roof. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys, originally three bays wide with an outshot bay to the left. A timber porch is located on the right-hand side of the left bay. There are two-light casement windows in each bay and the outshot bay. A eyebrow dormer with a two-light casement window sits over each bay. The roof is hipped and swept down to the left, featuring a ridge piece. A ridge stack is located to the left of the centre of the roof.
