Description
This is a stable block located 15 meters west of Townsend Manor Farm House, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of brick, with half of the exterior rendered, and features an old plain tile roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and consists of four bays, with a smoke storey bay on the left. The left bays are rendered, and there is a door with a hay loft door above it located between the bays, except in the center. The windows are 2-light casements with segmental heads. There are additional doors in the right bay and in the left added bays. The roofs are half-hipped, and a weathervane is positioned at the right end. Inside, the space is floored over for a hay loft and features a queen strut roof.
