Description
Rose Cottage is a cottage dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of colourwashed flint, brick, and cob, topped with a thatched roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and has three bays, with a wing on the left end. The left bay features flint with a planked door and a two-light casement window set in a brick segmental head. The left projecting wing has a three-light casement window. The right brick bays contain a two or three-light casement window with a segmental head, along with a large single light window in between. There are eyebrow dormers with a large single light over the centre and left bays, and a two-light casement in the eyebrow dormer over the left wing. The roof is half-hipped, with a large stack located between the flint and brick bays and an additional stack on the left hip.
