Description
The stable block at Manor Farm is an 18th-century structure, likely built around 1777 when The Manor House was constructed. It is made of red brick with some grey headers, arranged in Sussex bond, and features a peg-tiled roof along with a brick eaves cornice.
On the side facing The Manor House, there is one opening to the hayloft, one cambered casement window, and a wide opening at ground floor level. The side facing the yard includes two loading doors for the hayloft and two cambered wooden casement windows.
Inside, the stable block has an angled queen strut roof with staggered purlins and no ridgepiece. The ground floor features stop-chamfered beams with run-out stops, two wooden stall partitions, and a fixed ladder against the wall leading to the hayloft.
