Description

Cottrell Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of brick with a tile roof. The symmetrical front, facing west, has two storeys and features two windows. The brickwork includes blue headers with red flush dressings, and there are decorative elements such as an eaves fascia, rubbed arches that narrow the openings, vertical bands, quoins, a projecting first floor band, and a cill-height plinth. The windows are early 19th century sashes, and there is a canopy supported by brackets above a plain doorway.
