Description
West Stoke House is an early 19th-century house situated on Hayling Island. The house has roughcast walls and a tiled roof. Its symmetrical west front features two storeys and two windows, with brick dentil eaves. The windows are sashes in exposed frames. A doorcase is distinguished by a cornice supported on brackets, and an architrave. The rear elevation, which reflects the double-pile construction, is similar in appearance, and there is a north-side wing. A red brick boundary wall, constructed in a Flemish Garden Wall bond, runs along the property, incorporating a doorway entrance.
