Description

Newton House Hotel is an early 19th-century house, later extended in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and now operating as a hotel. Constructed of brick with a tile roof, the front (south) elevation is symmetrical, originally with three windows, now four, arranged over two storeys. The brickwork is of red colour in Flemish bond with blue headers, and features brick dentil eaves and stone lintels. The windows are sashes in exposed frames. A doorcase is present, featuring a pediment, frieze, and architrave, sheltering a half-glazed door.
