Description
South Hayling Manor is a house built in 1777. It is constructed of blue brick with red brick dressings and has a tile roof. The south elevation is symmetrical, composed of two storeys and an attic, with a three-by-one window arrangement. The walls feature blue header brickwork with red dressings, brick dentil eaves forming a pediment above the central projecting section, quoins, rubbed flat arches, a first-floor band, red brick walls below ground-floor cill level, stone cills, and a plinth. The windows are sash windows set in reveals. The west elevation displays two gables with one attic window above three, and features red brick walls in English bond, rubbed flat arches, a first-floor band, and a plinth. The windows are sash windows. The entrance, located in the fourth bay, is an arched opening above a flat-roofed, oval-shaped porch with four columns, leading to a six-panelled door on two steps. A lower extension is present on the north side.
