Description

These are an early 19th-century, symmetrical pair of two-storey buildings located on the east side of Andover High Street. They have a slate roof and are constructed of yellow brick in a Flemish bond pattern. The buildings feature rubbed flat arches, a recessed central pilaster with an arched top, stone cills, and a plinth. The upper windows are casements, and the lower windows are sash windows set within reveals. The stone doorframes incorporate arches, keystones, impost blocks, and plinths with stone steps leading to radiating fanlights above four-panelled doors. A section of abutment wall on the west side represents the remains of an adjoining building constructed to a similar design.
