Description
Nos 84 and 84A on High Street are a corner block building dating from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. It stands three storeys tall, with a two-storey extension on Newbury Street (84A), featuring three windows on the main front and two on the extension, along with one additional window. The building has a hipped slate roof with gables on the east side. The exterior is primarily painted brickwork with rubbed flat arches, while the east side is rendered. The windows are sash types in exposed frames, although the central openings have been filled in. The south face includes a first-floor shop window, and the ground floor has modern shopfronts. The rear section of the building is older and features timber framing.
