Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the 18th century and early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and flint, topped with a tile roof. The north front, which has undergone minor alterations, features two storeys and an attic with four windows. It has a hipped roof with two small hipped dormers that contain casement windows. The walls are made of flint with brick quoins, thin bands, a projecting band at the first floor, and a plinth, all of which are now painted. The windows are sashes in exposed frames. The plain doorway is topped with a simple canopy supported by brackets, and it has a six-panelled door accessed by five steps.
The end elevations display horizontal panels of flint, a first-floor band, and one upper sash window. At the west end, there is a 20th-century splayed bay made of flint and brick, featuring a French window. The south side, which was originally the front, has a centerpiece from the second period that projects from an original recess. This side has three hipped roofs, each with a hipped dormer. The walls on the centre and east side consist of flint panels with brick dressings, while the west side features header-bond brickwork above a double-stepped plinth. Some of the sashes are Victorian, and there is a wide boarded door.
