2/18 Walls extending to west and south of Netherton House, 20 12 60 including Garden Pavilion (formerly listed as garden wall and garden house to 2/18 Netherton)

GV II

Late C18. A system of garden walls, with gate-piers and garden pavilion, associated with the house. Late C18. Flint construction with brick verticals and other dressings, and tile capping. At the south end of the west range is a small square garden pavilion, with a pyramid tile roof (and brick dentil eaves). The north elevation of Flemish bond brickwork has an arched opening flanked by panels, the south has horizontal flint panels, the east has a single window with Gothic leaded lights; the main opening was probably glazed but now has a boarded door. In line with the axis of the house there is a simple gateway, comprising brick piers with plain stone caps, surmounted by scalloped ball finials.
