Description
The walls extending to the west and south of Netherton House, including the garden pavilion, date from the late 18th century. This system of garden walls features gate-piers and a garden pavilion that are associated with the house. The walls are constructed of flint with brick verticals and other dressings, topped with tile capping. At the south end of the west range, there is a small square garden pavilion with a pyramid tile roof and brick dentil eaves. The north elevation showcases Flemish bond brickwork with an arched opening flanked by panels, while the south side has horizontal flint panels. The east side contains a single window with Gothic leaded lights, and the main opening, which was likely originally glazed, now has a boarded door. Aligned with the axis of the house, there is a simple gateway made up of brick piers with plain stone caps, topped with scalloped ball finials.
