The Horse and Jockey Public House is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall with an attic. It features an old tiled roof with chimneys on either side and has two flat-roofed dormers. The exterior is made of colourwashed brick. On the first floor, there are two sash windows, each five panes wide, framed with architraves. The ground floor has two three-sided canted bays, each topped with moulded cornices and containing one sash window on each side. In the centre, there is a glazed door also framed with an architrave, topped by a moulded flat hood supported by very slender cast iron brackets. Additionally, there is a one-storey extension to the south-east.
