Description
2-10 Latimer Street is an early to mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall with a slate gabled roof and small flat eaves. The structure is made of red brick and features one window bay for each unit, except for No 4, which has more bays. The upper floor has four sash windows with painted reveals, each four panes wide, and is accented by rubbed brick voussoirs. The ground floor has similar windows, except for No 4, which includes small plate-glass shop windows framed by panelled pilasters and a plain fascia with shaped ends, topped with a small flat hood.
The doorways are semi-circular headed, with doors set in brick reveals. The doors are six-panel designs, with No 4 featuring an upper part that is glazed. There are blocked semi-circular tympana above the doorways, except for No 4, which has a glazed semi-circular fanlight. No 2, which was part of No 4 at the time of listing, has a carriage door to the south set in a wide segmental arch, with two modern casement windows above—one two-light and one one-light.
