Description
The Red Lion Public House is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of The Hundred. It is two stories tall and features a slate roof with chimneys on either side. The exterior is made of painted brick and consists of three bays. On the upper floor, there is a blocked central opening flanked by two sash windows, each with four panes and architrave frames. On the ground floor, there are two similar windows set within segmental arches. The central entrance has a narrow semi-circular arched doorway, with a flat-headed doorway recessed behind it. This entrance features a four-panelled door with two flush panels below and two glazed panels above. To the southeast, there is another similar four-panelled door with a plain rectangular fanlight above. At the north-west end of the building, there is a wooden-boarded gate.
