Description

Staddle Barn, located 60 meters west of Townsend Manor Farm House, is an 18th-century timber-framed barn that is weatherboarded and features a corrugated iron roof supported by staddle stones. The barn has four bays and is aisled, standing on 40 staddle stones, with an outshot at the rear also resting on staddle stones. It includes double doors in one bay and has a half-hipped roof. Inside, the barn features a queen-post roof with straight braces.
