Description

Ashley Cottage is a 16th-century cottage that was extended in the 19th century. It features a timber-frame structure with plaster infill, a brick end wall, and a thatched roof, with slate on the addition. The cottage has three bays and is one and a half stories high, with an outshot addition to the rear on the left side. The right bay has a planked door with an oval window beside it. In the center bay, there are two 2-light casement windows and a 3-light eyebrow dormer above, along with two similar windows in the left bay. A stack is located on the ridge to the right of the center.
