Description

This is an 18th-century barn located 25 meters northeast of Sopps Farmhouse. It features a timber-frame structure that is weatherboarded on a brick plinth, with one end constructed in brick. The barn has a corrugated iron roof, while the porches are covered with tiles. It consists of seven bays and has projecting hip-roofed porches on both sides of the third bay from the right, which include double doors. Two of the bays have brick walls, and the roof is half-hipped. There are lean-to cartsheds in front of the other bays on one side, and the opposite side has a variety of doors, vents, and hay-loft doors. Inside, the barn has a queen-post roof supported by struts, with braces to the ties and some windbraces.
