Description

This is an 18th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a tile roof. The main block is L-shaped, featuring a symmetrical three-window, two-storey front (west elevation) with an attic. A single-storeyed north wing extends from the main block, providing two windows. The roof incorporates three hipped dormers, each with casement windows, and a catslide at the rear, along with a half-hip to the rear wing. The brickwork includes a plinth and cambered openings. Casement windows are fitted with half-glazing. A half-glazed door is set within a trellis porch, which has a concave hood. Flint panels are incorporated into the rear walls. A south stack features a moulded terra-cotta panel inscribed "EC1C 1746."
