Description
Church Farmhouse is a building that dates from the 18th century, with early 19th century and 20th century elements. It is a long house comprising three phases. The north-west end features one storey and an attic with three ground-floor windows, while the other end has two storeys and three windows. The roof is thatched and half-hipped above the older section, with eyebrows and low eaves at the rear (north-east). The other part of the house has a low-pitched slate roof. The walls are painted brick, and there are cambered openings on the ground floor. The early 19th century middle section is clad with slate tiles over brickwork. The windows are casements, and the doors are plain with solid frames; one door has a thatched hood, while another features a canopy supported by wrought-iron brackets.
