Description

The garden wall to the north of the Rectory is a high wall that encloses three sides of a square, with the north and west sides forming the boundary along the road. It dates from the 18th century to the early 19th century. The wall is constructed of flint and brick, with some sections featuring rendered surfaces and topped with tiles. The part adjacent to the roadway is built in brickwork using Flemish bond, incorporating blue headers. There are buttresses at intervals, and flint panels are included in the lower sections of the wall.
