Description
Berneval Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It features flint walls and a thatched roof, with two storeys and an attic, and three windows. The roof is half-hipped, with the frame exposed in the south gable and an eyebrow dormer. The flint walls are accented with brick quoins and cambered arches, while the gables have narrow horizontal flint panels. The windows include casements and one early 19th-century sash. There is a boarded door located beneath a thatched canopy supported by a light trellis.
